Honoring Sam by working towards better collective mental health.
We created the Samuel L. Asbury Foundation in 2020 to honor our son, brother and friend who unexpectedly took his life.
To best honor Sam and continue to make his mark on the world, our organization is focused on creating awareness and promoting prevention related to suicide and depression, and providing hope to to those affected by either.

The We Stand Together Foundation is driven by the goal to improve behavioral medicine research, expand holistic mental health solutions, and raise awareness for mental health.

Academic Research
We are currently funding a research project with Texas Tech Associate Professor & Chair of Public Relations & Strategic Communication Management, Dr. Eric Rasmussen. The project will focus on the effectiveness of media communication to young adults on the subject of mental health.
